WATERCOLOURS

This is a wonderful medium to use for capturing the magical quality of light. I love the whole process of watercolour from start to finish.  It is so exacting, especially in this climate, one needs to act fast as the paint dries quickly, so total attention is required. This necessity produces a kind of ‘zone’ in one's mind  where I become one with the paper and the paint.

I often feel that a watercolour speaks volumes, it has a mystical quality to it that is hard to fathom, or put a finger on,  but if done from the heart, it speaks to our souls.
